I was about to answer your other question, but it looks like it was removed for ranting...you didn't mention in your question that you had already changed the battery...so don't going chewing our heads off...we're only trying to help...My Hyundai Santa Fe remote only works if I am right next to the side or front of the car .any advise?

have you tried replacing the battery in the remote? As the battery wears down, you need to get closer and closer to the car
Try replacing your battery. You will also have to reprogram your remote after removing the battery. The code should be in your owners manual.
