During the whole term of your emlistment? Pretty high.

If you like it, it's good. If you don't, it sucks.

Depends where you live and where you're based. If you live in Colchester and happen to get based there, then once you're out of basic you can visit whenever you're not working.





If you live in Edinburgh and are deployed in Iraq, not so often.

The odds of ending up in either country are good. The life isn't bad although it is strictly controlled with high performance expectation. There are decent health benefits while you are in the service. If you are not on overseas assignment, you may get weekend leave once a month or even oftener, but once you are assigned overseas, you will not get home until your unit returns or you are wounded and shipped home.
