A Very good question for any ';Sadhaka'; or ';Seekar';.





There are many books from Ramakrishna mission and many Hindu scriptures on this. The ways are different and many. You have to catch one out of them all.





1. Firstly you must continuously judge your ';Self';. Sant Tukaram said, ';Ratran Deen amha Yuddhacha prasanga'; means there is war always with us (within).





2. Try to catch hold one pole and be sticked to it. There are many roads to lead a particular destination but only one suits you. see it is less tedious and accepted by many saints.





3. Shraddha and Bhakti are the prime ';wheels'; of your vehicle. Always maintain it.





4. Satsanga and Templesa are the ';service centers';. Never forget to check your self there.





5. Reading books on biographies of revered saints is like GURU always with you. Keep on going reading such books.





6. Shadripus are hurdles in your path. Many you can win some you can avoid. The best way is to divert all ';Vrittees'; to your engine of spirituality, ';Strength within';.





7. Avoid excessive TV, News paper, unnecessary talks, and any other thing which may spoil your peace of mind and attention towards your GOAL.





8. Place your Idol of deity at the bottom of heart and do ';Manaspooja'; daily, without fail.





9. Have a practice to recite the sweet name of your deity with love and affection, thinking ';Till I recite this name/Mantra He is with me';. Mantra given by Guru is best if not till then you can recite your Kuladevi's or Devata's mantra.





10.Limit your hunger and other material pleasures. Our ';needs'; are very less. If it exceeds the limit, it is spiritually BAD. You also need very strong body, as the path of spirituality is rough and tough. It is not the work of ordinary person. It needs ';Yoddha Sanyasi';, by mind.





11. Your body is your vehicle and your ';self'; or free will is ';Driver';. You have to keep fit both. Do regular exercise and meditation regularly.





12. While sleeping, try to recite the name of GOD in the mid of Jagruti and Sleep. If you get regular success doing this you will lead to ';Ajapajapa';.





13. You may get many suggessions, as there are many learned persons than me on this Y/a. Accept that which your mind okeys. I am very trifle to suggest anybody and Not a final authority. But, While doing all this, please keep in mind, ';Your first Dharma is Kartavya to your family. Give Top priority to the well beings of your family members';.





It is like a ';Great Circus'; and you are the ring master. Be alert always.

FOR A DEVOTEE WORSHIPER, WHO ALWAYS VIBRATES THE NAME OF GOD AND REMAINS IN GOD'S WILL.





For him there is no need even a prayer, what ever he thinks, comes to pass. When we chant His name He keeps running for our tasks.





आपे ही प्रभु राखता भगतन की आनि ॥


The Lord Himself saves the honour of His saints.


जो जो चितवहि साध जन सो लेता मानि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥


Whatsoever the holy men wish for, that the Lord grants them. Pause.


{Guru Arjan Dev Ji, Raag Bilaaval 817}








सेवक कउ निकटी होइ दिखावै ॥


To his servant, the Lord shows Himself to be near.


जो जो कहै ठाकुर पहि सेवकु ततकाल होइ आवै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥


Whatever the servant asks his Master, forthwith comes to pass. Pause.

FOR A NON DEVOTEE WHO IS IN DOUBT FOR GOD, WHETHER HE WOULD LISTEN OR NOT.





For above type of person even prayer does not work. But God knows every thing, He Himself knows what is to be given and what not to be.





आपे जाणै आपे देइ ॥


The Lord Himself knows everything and Himself gives.


आखहि सि भि केई केइ ॥


But a rare person say this, who know this fact.


{Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Jap 5}








सरब निधान जा की द्रिसटी माहि ॥


All the treasure are in His gracious glance.


पुरब लिखे का लहणा पाहि ॥


Man obtains the cargo which is originally destined for him.

But contrary to above concepts if some asks for grant of a devotional worship, is given in no time.





There are very few people who come to know that their prayer has been accepted.





THE ONLY WAY TO IMPOVE THE SPIRITUAL STRENGTH IS TO MEDITATE ON NAME OF GOD. JUST CHANT HIS NAME MENTALLY AND CONCENTRATE ON YOUR OWN CHANTING VOICE.





SECONDLY IF YOU WANT ANY WORK DONE, YOU JUST DAILY ASSOCIATE THE HOLY SINGING IN HIS PRAISE. YOU WILL SEE THAT ALL OF YOUR TASKS WILL BE FULFILLED.
It is very simple.Prayer is the communication between you and God.Let the prayer come from the hearts. It should not be learned or recited.First give thanks for the blessings god has given to you. Then tell all your problems to god as if you are telling to a friend .Remember not to hide anything Ask forgiveness for any mistake committed knowingly or unknowingly.Better to close your eyes while praying .This will help you to concentrate your mind only to God. Conclude the prayer with an another thanks. Sure your prayer will be answered. You believe it.
And so God said to the Devil, see Jobe still believes in me, even after all the horrible things that have been brought upon him, and the Devil said, WTF? You killed his family, burned his house and killed his livestock just to win a bet against me? But in most attributes there is no god, you see wee actually have machines that see up into the sky called telescopes, and from what ive heard I dont think weve ever seen god, so who ever youre praying to probably isnt real.
The question is, are you just asking God to give you the things that you want most? Or are you honestly praying?





In times of stress or happiness are the times when prayers are the most powerful, because the emotions come from deep within the intuition, which is how everything is in the Spiritual World.
I've been going through this very same thing lately and well, I always get the same answer. I just have to continue to believe that my life is in His hands and my prayers are being answered but not always in the way I expect them to be answered. You see God says that He will finish the work and we just have to learn to persevere.
FIRST IN THE WORLD THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE AND LOVING GOD HE IS JESUS.


WHEN U PRAY,WHEN U READ BIBLE AND WHEN U LIVE LIKE GODS LOVABLE CHILD THEN GOD ALWAYS THEN AND ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYERS.
PERFORMING THE ACTIVITY OF SURRENDERING AND SUBMITTING THE MIND OF SELF; PRIOR TO PERFORMING ANY TASK; INCLUDING PRAYERS; FOR THE PURPOSE AND REASONS OF ALLOWING HIM ONLY TO GUIDE AND DRIVE IT WITH THOSE ACTIONS OF SELF; AS HE MAY DEEM FIT; FOR HELPING YOU TO HELP YOUR SELF OR OTHERS; THEREAFTER; AS YOU MAY LIKE.





DO SO; PRIMARILY BY PRAISING HIM, WORSHIPING HIM, AND PRAYING TO HIM; ESPECIALLY WITH THE SPIRIT OF JOY OF THE NATURE OF SELF ONLY; BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT HE USES AS THE MEDIUM OF HELP FOR HELPING YOU WITH.
Where did the idea of ';what you are praying to'; come from?





Who is the asker, the listener, and the answerer?





Is there more than one entity doing this whole process?





What does the word ';Spiritual'; actually mean?
Remember God, the creator, be sincere, obey Him as much as possible, take care that your food is lawful(get money lawfully and eat lawful things), and pray heartedly.

God is always listening, and the answer is always a yes. But the real question God is asking you is what can you believe for?
