I have my driving test in 3 hours please advise?

my nerves are shot to peices and dont know what to expect. I am taking the test in my own car can someone please give me some advice please??I have my driving test in 3 hours please advise?

Floor it!
Just remember that you know you can drive, don't let the fact it's an examiner in the car with you put you off. Don't over think it, just do what comes naturally, and once you relax it will all come naturally.
Try some deep breathing, and take some herbal kalms (you can get them from a local pharmacy) When you go for your test, imagine it is your instructor beside you and not the tester. Your instructor wouldn't have let you book your test if they didn't think you were ready - so be positive!





Try and remember any things that your instructor repeatedly had to remind you about, as you don't want to fail for silly things. Take your time with manoeuvers, and make deliberate movements to show you are looking in your mirrors.





In fact, take your time throughout - better to pick up a minor for hesitation than fail on a dangerous or uncontrolled move - Remember, you are going to show the tester what you CAN do - not what you can't.

stay cool. wear that perfume. show some flesh but not too much and remember to stop at the red lights.
oh just relax and just think you instructor is in the back and just think what he would off said when you come to a situation that your not sure about but think quick. take your time do not rush do not speed don't shut if you do something wrong cos they mark you on that to. good luck xx relax
The best thing for you to do is get into your car with an adult driver and drive B4 your test. Do not select someone that may be very upsetting to you. Try select the basic rout that the officer with take you later in the day.. Become very familier with the area and just relax.... you will do fine...
The best way to go into it is with the mindframe of; the worst that can happen is I fail it, I can retake it and i've got nothing to lose. It might sound silly but if yout tell yourself that enough you'll feel a lot better :)
dont think about it when ur put on the spot u will do well or bad but if u dwell on it to much the pressure will get to u.
Get There early,Sit down somewhere and try to focus your mind on what you are about to do, and how many times you've done it before Easily, during your lessons, try and see it as ';just another practise test';

Hi. Firstly, I know it's really hard but until it's time to go off to your test, try to relax, and focus on something else, try reading a magazine or something - thinking about driving won't help, it'll just make you more nervous.





Remember that your instructor believes you are ready to take your test, he/she wouldn't have put you in for it if they didn't think that you could do it! You know that you can do everything! All you have to do now is show that to the examiner!


I took the test in my own car, which i think is so much better because i knew my car, i was used to it.





Tips for the test - they are really looking for you to drive safely, so look in your mirrors all the time (i nearly failed coz of my mirrors) and make sure you are aware of everything around you. Also remember that if you mess up, it doesn't mean you've failed!! In my test i messed up my bay parking really badly... i was over the line and i wasn't straight... instead of panicking i just pulled forwards and then reversed back into the space, and i passed! So remember that if you make a mistake you might be able to correct it :D

Its ok to be nervous, its normal, i mean come on this is your chance to drive. First they are gonna check your lights, signal and brake lights just to see if everything works. Then your gonna honk. Be sure to put your seatbelt on before you even start the car. Check mirrors. Then your off. Stay in the speed limit, always signal. The instructor is gonna tell you where to go and thats it. If you mess up he will say ok lets get back to DMV. Relax n enjoy the experience.
Just calm down. You already know all you are gonna know 3 hours from now. You will be in your own car that you are used to. Eat a big breakfast and chill out. If you relax, you will be fine, but if you let yourself be overly nervous you will make mistakes because of it.

If you have the time get yourself some 'Kalms', they're a herbal remedy that help to calm the nerves! My friend used them during her second test a passed with flying colours. Other than that just try to do your best, remember to make it obvious you are using your mirrors (I failed once because I didn't look like I was using them - although I was), take your time and don't panic!
stay calm just think of your PASSENGER as a friend you are taking for a spin Give him/her a comfortable ride but be aware of all that is happening around you be confident you will pass

The instructors are NOT as bad as those you've probably seen on television or in the movies.





Make sure to buckle up, check your mirrors, use turn signals, etc. Just relax, follow that rules that you've learned, and you'll do just fine.

hey hun just stay calm n try to relax! remember to breathe, on my test the instructor had to remind me to!!


keep cheakin your mirrors,and make sure you indicate in the right direction!!! oh and dont forget to over exagerate looking for traffic that was the advice i was given!!
