I don't know what country you live in, but in the US there are companies called customs brokers who are specialists and expediters in importing goods. I'm sure there are similar companies in your country who would be the best people to contact for advice. Good luck.
No export tax or vat. In general, you need to pay a small fee for declaration of exporting. Fees various. For example, if you export by container, the fee is less than USD15. (This is not a tax, so it is not related to the value of the goods inside the container). So this fee is so small that you put it as part of the freight charge.
From HK to where? You'll pay no duties %26amp; taxes to get your goods out (only the shipping related charges) but you'll have to pay where you recieve the goods. SO, the question is what country are you importing to? Contact your local customs house with a pro-forma invoice listing the items you want to import and the costs fo the goods:so they can calculate your duties %26amp; taxes and moreover to see if they are legal to import!
