Go on an all fruit no carbs diet for a week. Drink lots of water, no alcohol, no fizzies. Start to walk a mile a day for 3 days, increase to 2 then 3 and so on every 3 days.

2nd week mix in loads of porridge and bran foods with honey and all the fruit. Keep extending the walking.

3rd week repeat week 1

4th week repeat week 2

If you feel ill during this programme add some low fat yogurt etc to the diet

eat 4 meals per day and no crisps etc at all

No meat during 'odd number weeks'

chicken and loads of oily fish on the even number weeks.

Nuts etc from health shops, brazils, walnuts etc and raisins, etc for snacking. NO peanuts, salted or dry roasted. Any other nuts are fine. Keep the snacks varied.

Drink 3 - 5 pints of water per day in small quantities and especially after walking.

2nd month start adding light exercise in the house, sit ups etc to the routine. keep those muscles active throughout. SWIM at least 3 times per week. Start with 1 or 2 lengths at 25 mtrs and increase 1 length per week.Hi there! is there any1 out their that can advise me on quick waightloss? as i'm getting married in 3 months,
See your doctor if you haven't already about the thyroid problem. If it is actually affecting your weight (hypoactive thyroid can case weight gain, if signifiant enough) then you should probably be on synthetic thyroid hormone replacement therapy.

Do NOT abuse this in hopes of losing more weight ... hyperactive thyroid is a disease also and affects your health too. Reading about diabetic women skipping their insulin to lose weight (and discovering a few years later that their internal organs are fragile and decaying due to poorly controlled diabetes) was just... sad.
my first 3 months of slimming world and i lost nearly 2 stone, and thats with not doing it 100%.
let me show you what worked for me. Eat what you like. Just keep it to1200 calories a day (healthier is better obviously) and sweat and I mean SWEAT!! for 30-40 minutes a day 6-7 days a week. Remember the more you sweat the more you can add to your eating plan. Write down everything you eat with calorie content. This will give you an overall look at where you need to make changes. Don't eat after 6 pm ever. Don't cheat, you're only fooling yourself and don't skip workouts. You should be losing about between 2-3 pounds a week, which is a healthy rate without starving yourself...Good luck with your new life and lifestyle!
I lost 1 and half stone in and month and a half by eating homemade vegetable soup, with brown nimble bread, living on eggs and very little potato products. also lots and lots of water with about 20 mins on exercise bike a day. xx
try The Food Doctor written by Ian Marber or G Plan Diet - -excellent- sound common sense on healthy eating.
